Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial scored the goals as Manchester United recorded a 2-1 win over Manchester City in Saturday’s Manchester derby at the Etihad Stadium.
The victory has seen Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side rise into fifth position in the Premier League table, now just five points off fourth-placed Chelsea on the same number of matches.
City, though, remain 14 points off division leaders Liverpool with the reigning champions suffering their fourth defeat of what has been an inconsistent 2019-20 campaign to date.
City will continue their Premier League campaign away to Arsenal next Sunday, while United are next in domestic action at home to Everton on the same afternoon.
