2018 World Cup Qualifier: Uganda coach Micho lauds duo despite Zambia loss

Despite losing by a lone goal to the Chipolopolo of Zambia on Thursday in an international friendly, Serbian trainer Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredejovic says he is happy with the performance of two young players.

Muhammad Shaban and Muzamir Mutyaba were heavily praised by the Serb for their splendid p”I can say Muhammad Shaban and Muzamir Mutyaba put up good performances,” Sredojevic said.

“If they continue with this, I might give them more playing time in the upcoming World Cup qualifier against Congo Brazzaville on Saturday,” Micho assured after the Zambia game.

“I have been very impressed with amount of movement and quality of these players. I was satisfied with their approach plus the playmaking role of Muzamir Mutyaba.” he added.

Chisamba Lungu’s only goal for the Chipolopolo fired them to victory over the Cranes in a game that was played in Uganda but the head coach says he is satisfied with his players.

Uganda are second in Group E with a point following their goalless draw with the Black Stars of Ghana in the opening group game.
